Mitas-mounted Brit Catherine Williamson and her Meerendal Wheeler Swiss team-mate Esther Suss are currently fourth overall in the 2016 Cape Epic MTB endurance and 56th overall (out of 488 finishers) after completing the Prologue and first five stages of the mammoth South African event.

With 499km of arduous riding under their team belts, the pair now have two stages left in which to climb further up the leaderboard before the event culminates on Sunday the 20th of March 2016.

Both riders are former winners of the women’s class of the Cape Epic women’s class, but this is their first time riding together.
